Le Chéile
The youth concert on November 16th, entitled Le Chéile, is part of ‘We are Music Generation 2024’ – a year dedicated to celebrating the transformative impact of performance music education on the lives of children and young people.
Music Generation Galway County has received a special funding allocation from the Create, Collaborate, Celebrate Fund (We are Music Generation) administered by Music Generation’s National Development Office to assist with the development of the Le Chéile initiative.
‘We are Music Generation’ events are co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Arts Council/An Comhairle Ealaíon and the Department of Education.
Fógrófar clár iomlán na féile i rith samhraidh 2024 ach faoi láthair ba mhaith linn cuireadh a thabhairt duit a bheith i láthair do cheolchoirm speisialta na n-óg, dar teideal Le Chéile, a bheidh ar siúl Dé Sathairn, an 16 Samhain. Beidh aoi-taibheoirí speisialta i mbun ceoil ag an gceolchoirm chomh maith a bheidh ar siúl in Ollscoil na Gaillimhe. Beidh fáiltiú roimh an gceolchoirm chun aitheantas a thabhairt dár gcomhpháirtithe agus tá súil agam go mbeidh tú in ann a bheith i láthair, agus in ann freastal ar an gceolchoirm féin. Táimid ag súil gur ceiliúradh speisialta a bheidh ann ar cheol, amhránaíocht agus damhsa traidisiúnta na hÉireann, agus go mór mór ar leanaí agus ar dhaoine óga.
